Ohio Collage Society’s 10th Annual Members Show

The Ohio Collage Society’s 10th Annual Members Show opened April 2nd during the Downtown Akron Art Walk, and ran through April 30.

About four dozen pieces of collage and assemblage art were displayed at Art Walls at 43 Furnace Street Gallery above Zeber-Martell Gallery in Akron’s Northside. It was really a strong show.

I was delighted to learn that “Love’s Locked But Not Lost” was given a Judge’s Award on opening night!

Hudson Society of Artists Members Exhibit, March 2014

The Hudson Society of Artists is having its annual members exhibit, March 1-29. The society is an active group of approximately 100 members in the Northeast Ohio area. The members exhibit is always an interesting mix of art: representational and abstract, watercolor and acrylic, oil and collage.
