National Collage Society 17th Annual Postcard Show

The National Collage Society’s annual Postcard Show is being held online this year to give everyone the opportunity to view the exhibit. The artwork is all collage (containing elements that are glued on) and all postcard-sized: 4×6 inches.

Sunset

“Sunset” is a large, cheerful, brightly colored abstract painting. It reminds me of a sunset, but others have had different interpretations. I always enjoy hearing what others think of my paintings.

A hot summer day, the flowers creating a riot of heat and color. That’s this painting.

This painting is painted with acrylic paints and inks on paper, which is then mounted on a 1-1/2 inch deep gallery wrapped canvas. The edges are painted black.

Colors and Cocktails

Thursday, June 12
7-9 pm.

Come for an evening of fun and art. Go home with not one – but TWO! – completed artworks: one to wear and one to display. This evening you will make a colorful pair of chain maille earrings and a unique mixed media collage.

No painting or jewelry skills needed!

Our artists, Karen and Dana, will guide you step-by-step through each project and help you along the way.

The event will be held in the artists’ studios at 220 N. Main St., Hudson, OH (upstairs, above My Little Red Wagon Toy Store).

Pre-registration is recommended to reserve a space (or two). There is a limit of 10 people.

We provide the supplies and soft drinks. You are welcome to bring stronger beverages if you wish.

$46 per person or $80 for 2 people.
